We’re excited to share that the Skyward Family Access upgrade is complete. This updated version of the platform brings a modernized interface, improved functionality and an enhanced overall experience for both families and students.

Skyward will continue to provide families with easy access to important student information—including attendance, grades and more—anytime from a computer or mobile device. Students will also maintain their own accounts to monitor academic progress. Your current login credentials will remain the same, ensuring a smooth transition. From our homepage, access the Skyward login from either the search menu then Logins or the applicable circle icon (i.e. Parents). Previously bookmarked logins will need to be updated. As a reminder, only Students and Staff use Google Single Sign On; Families use their same login and password.

To update your Skyward Mobile App to the new version:
1. On your mobile app screen, Add Another Account button. 
2. On the Add Account screen, you will search in either the Name (type Derby Public Schools), Current Location or Postal Code search bars. You will then select Derby USD 260.
3. Next, enter your Login ID and Password, then create an Account Description. This description can be anything you choose—for example, “My Child’s Grades” or your own name. It’s entirely up to you. Keep in mind, whatever you enter here will appear on your login screen each time you open the app. Once you've completed these fields, tap Add Account to continue.
4. You have successfully updated your account information and can now log into your upgraded Skyward account! 
5. You can now delete your previous account that was linked to the old Skyward. You may do so by selecting the Edit button in the top right corner of the desired account on your app screen, then selecting the Delete button. If deleting does not work for you, you can always delete the app and re-download, following the steps above, and only the new screen will display.
