Welcome!
Derby High School Counselors provide support to students and parents in three major areas: academic, personal or social, and career. We work with students, parents, staff, and the community to provide resources and support in each of these areas.
Office hours: The Counseling Department is located inside Student Services. We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. School Counselors are available from 7:35 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Monday through Friday.
We welcome all students and parents to our office. In order to dedicate our attention to you, we prefer for you to make an appointment to see us. Walk-ins may have to wait until there is an opening in your school counselor's schedule in order to be seen.
