We’re excited to share that the Skyward Family Access upgrade is complete. This updated version of the platform brings a modernized interface, improved functionality and an enhanced overall experience for both families and students.
The 2025-2026 school year calendar is available to view or download. Please note, each elementary school and Derby High School will begin their school day five minutes earlier this year.
At Derby High School, sophomore Abbee Thompson is known as a determined student, a talented artist and a dedicated leader. But now, she carries a new title—Kansas Military Youth of the Year—an honor that celebrates her commitment to community service, academic excellence and leadership.
The Derby Board of Education recently approved the Fire/EMT Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway, launching at Derby High School next school year.
Class of 2025 graduation is on Sunday, May 18 at 6:30PM. This ceremony will be held at Koch Arena on the Wichita State University Campus.
We are excited to announce that the Panther Watch volunteer program is expanding to the middle schools. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in supporting the learning environment at Derby Middle School, Derby North Middle School and Derby High School.
