Thank you for your interest in the Elementary Education Specifications Sub-Committee. This group will establish the facility goals and objectives for the Elementary Education Sub-Committee. The Elementary Education Specifications Sub-Committee will determine what should be “required” in a typical district school; these criteria may include but not be limited to: spaces and functions, interior and exterior space, acceptable standards and technology requirements. This team will also take into consideration the future needs of the schools, such as space and function. The Elementary Education Specifications Sub-Committee will then make recommendations to the Elementary Education Sub-Committee as well as the Steering Committee.
This team of approximately 20 people will be made up of community members, parents, students, teachers, school administration, central office representatives, classified staff and a member of the Board of Education.
