During this meeting, counselors and administrators will share important information about academic supports available at DHS, homeroom, important dates, Career Cruising,the college admissions process, the NCAA clearinghouse, graduation, ACT Aspire testing and more.  We recognize time is very precious, and you may not be able to or wish to attend.  As we feel this information is important, please CLICK HERE to review the slideshow from the presentation and contact the DHS Student Services department at 788-8510 should you have any questions.

actDHS is excited to administer the ACT & ACT Aspire test to DHS students this year October 3, 2017- DHS Juniors will take the ACT test. Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors will be excused for this entire day. October 18, 2017- Freshman and Sophomores will take the ACT Aspire test. Juniors and Seniors will be excused for this day. The ACT Aspire is an online test designed to predict how a student will perform on the actual ACT. Parents and students do not need to do anything. This is a district-driven assessment, and all registration and information will be done via upload from Skyward.

Process for Success Patron Insight Community Input Survey results have been presented at the August 28 Board of Education meeting, emailed to families via Skylert, shared on social media and posted on website. The Process for Success Steering Committee met August 29 and will present an updated proposal at the September 11 BOE meeting for discussion. Season Tickets for reserved seats go on sale starting August 23rd. Tickets are $40 for 4 home games and may be purchased during regular business hours (M-F 8-11:30am and 1-2:30pm) at the DHS Finance Office. Limit 10 tickets/person. Cash/check only.
