News & Announcements

conferencesFall parent/teacher conferences will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25th and Thursday, Oct. 27th. On Tuesday, parents may meet with teachers in their classrooms from 4:00-7:30 pm. On Thursday, parents may meet with teachers in the commons during the following times: 7:30 am-12:00 pm, 12:45 -3:15 pm, and 4:00-7:30 pm. Printed grade cards and schedules will not be available. Parents may access current grades and schedules through Skyward Family Access.​ Please remind your student to bring their laptop to share their student portfolio during conference sessions. We look forward to seeing you!

downstairsIn the interest of the safety of our students, starting Friday, Oct. 14th, the main stairway will be a DOWN ONLY walkway during passing periods. With the exception of the lunch period and go-zone during homeroom, please find an alternate route upstairs throughout the school day. Thank you!


Chad Cargill is coming back to DHS! He will be here on Friday, November 4th from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. to conduct another ACT test prep workshop. Spots are limited! Register by paying $30.00 to Mrs. Brown in the Finance Office. Click HERE for more information.


PANTHER PRIDE WARS - Week 3 Updatemoore: The top 3  Homerooms for week 3 are VinZant with 100% participation, Kraus with 88% participation, and Paske with 86% participation. These Homeroom classes will be awarded a prize by Mr. Moore. The Sophomores still hold the lead in the class competition. One more Friday to go. Who will come out on top?!!

tutoring signFREE TUTORING - Mondays and Thursdays, 3:15 - 6:15 p.m., DHS Media Center. Students MUST bring their IDs. An activity bus is provided at 4:45 p.m. at the student entrance and at 6:00 p.m. at the weight room entrance for students who need bus transportation. Click HERE for more information.
