Seeking Community Input in Superintendent Search
The Board of Education gave direction at its February 13 meeting to seek feedback on the type of superintendent the community wants to lead Derby Public Schools. The Kansas Association of School Boards (KASB) will be assisting our district in gathering public input. KASB will conduct a series of characteristics focus group sessions with the community, students, teachers, classified staff and administration to obtain input on what others view as desirable traits of the new leader. KASB has also provided an online survey that will open at 9:00PM on February 13 and close at midnight on February 19. Click HERE to view more details and access survey.
Thursday, Feb. 16th is the last day of Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences at DHS! Conferences will run from 7:30-11:30a.m. and 12:30-3:30p.m. Teachers will be available to meet with parents in the commons.
